I’m quite obsessed with spiral shapes - especially those which are mathematically beautiful. Here’s a great script to generate all kinds of spiro-roulette shapes.
Lollipop Girl. With this Variator I wrote for Adobe Illustrator/Scriptographer, you’ll be able to have the full control of randomizing the size, opacity and Hue/Saturation/Brightness.
Create some thing interesting from a plain same color.
In the illustration example above, except for the obvious hexagons, I also benefited a lot from the Variator while creating the glitters on her lips and eyelids, as well as the earrings.

So run the script, type in the the numbers, then choose a type of grid to make and press the button. From left: regular triangular grid, alternative triangular grid, hexagonal grid and alternative hexagonal grid.
Then you’re free to edit the color and lines, copy and twist, make something great :)
